We take photographs of every angle of your home, your landscape, your business, your antiques or the parts you manufacture and create interactive QuickTime images for use on websites. Interactive photographs allow visitors to completely control a "virtual camera". They have the ability to point and zoom the camera as they please -- much like they would if they were taking the photographs live. This is not a digital video movie where the viewer plays, rewinds and fast forwards a prerecorded sequence of events. These photos interactive! Viewing interactive images is much like using a camera -- point and zoom to what you want to see when you want to see it..

We take the photos and create your virtual world.

We come to your location to take the photographs and deliver back to you on CD all original photos and assembled artwork for you to use however you like. You may want to produce panoramic posters, web site objects or just plain hardcopy prints. We can also provide storage and a unique URL for your images for use with auction sites such as UBID or EBAY if those sites do not provide such a service.

Interactive or Printed Panoramic Images

We'll take photos, indoors or out, to show off your home or business. These images are commonly used in real estate or travel web sites. Viewers can pan left or right and zoom in or out within a complete 360 degree plane. Ever wonder what that beachfront condo you want to rent next summer really looks like? Panoramic photography would show it all. Trying to sell your home? Highlight your best rooms and views using interactive photography.

We use the best professional photgraphic equipment to capture images of the highest quality and resolution. We create panoramic photos with wide angle lenses vs fisheye lenses to minimize distortion -- this technique requires us to take multiple photographs and "stitch" them together electronically to make a complete circle. Some applications, such as football games, require fisheye lenses because of the movement of the subject matter, but sometimes render a bit distorted. We'll use the best fit for your application. Once we have the photos assembled, we can present them on any computer, direct or via the web, using a number of technologies, including players based on JAVA, ActiveX, Apple Quicktime, .exe or a number of photographic outputs for print.

Interactive Spherical Images

Imagine being able to look at a photograph and control all aspects of where the camera is pointing. Left, right, up, down. You can see the ceiling, the floor, the walls -- but never the camera! This is popular with office lobbies, resorts, auto and aircraft interiors, and yes, even the Space Shuttle has had spherical images taken of it.

Interactive Object Images

By placing an object, such as a vase or a fabricated machine part, on a turntable and rotating it as the camera snaps pictures, we create a series of photos that, when stitched together, shows every aspect of the object on a single plane. Again, the viewer has full control of rotation and zoom.

Interactive Inverse Spherical Objects

Spherical Objects are the most difficult to shoot because things like lighting, background and object placement have to be precise. But the results are impressive! Imagine trying to sell a baseball signed by the entire Cincinnati Reds "Big Red Machine". Prospective buyers would sure like to get a good look at this, but you'd be upset if someone ever took it out of the case and touched it! With interactive object photography, we can take photographs from all angles (about 50 photos in all) and present them to the viewer in such a way that the ball appears to float in mid-air while they control the visual angle and zoom. They are virtually looking at your ball without ever touching it! And they don't have to be anywhere near your ball while they do it -- they could be thousands of miles away!

Convert Motion or Still Film, Slide Transparencies, Hard Copy Photos and Analog Videos to Digital

TwirlPix can convert and edit 16mm silent or sound, Super 8 or regular 8 film reels to DVDs and for use on the web.  We can also convert 35mm slide transpanencies, 35mm negatives, hard copy photos, VHS and BetaMax tape to digital formats.  Even damaged hard copy photos may be repairable.  As film and paper ages, these conversions become necessary in order to perserve your films and photos.  Converting to digital can even restore faded colors.  And once in a digital format, the images themselves will not deteriorate further.  Coupled with a good digital backup practice, these images should last you a lifetime. Please call for more information and pricing.
